We have safely made it to Oregon - settling into Roseburg with Lindsay's aunt Lesa and cousin Patrick - after staying an extra night in Yellowstone (details to follow) and visiting Andrew's to-be roommate in Boise, Idaho for a night. It's Lindsay's birthday, and we're planning to head out and celebrate with our Oregon hosts. Today we went to the lab where Lindsay's aunt works and got our blood drawn and analyzed!!!!!!! We got to look at it threw the microscope. Lindsay has large platelets!! After having his blood drawn, Andrew got to test his blood type himself - he's A-. We all went to see Wanted (a rated-R flick), and Lindsay used her ID to get her own ticket - she's 17 now, afterall!!
Also, having neglected our blog as we've been camping - Yellowstone was great! We saw a bear, elks, buffalos, mosquitos, and a wild assortment of other small aminals. Yay! While in Wyoming we bought some way cool cowboy boots - and saw a rodeo! The rodeo was pretty much the coolest thing ever, with bullriding, calf wrestling, buckinghorse riding, barrel racing, and a dance-off. We bought BBQ beef sandwiches - that was tough to explain to the rodeo stock...
